About Visit Korea 4U
Visit Korea 4U is an independent English-language travel guide for people planning a meaningful trip to South Korea. We focus on practical planning, heritage cities, local experiences, and the transport links that help visitors move with confidence.
Our purpose
Travel planning should feel clear, not overwhelming. Our guides are designed to help first-time and returning visitors understand where to begin, how to get around, and what makes each destination worth time and attention. We currently place special emphasis on Gyeongju, one of Korea’s most rewarding heritage destinations, as well as airport-to-city transport and Korea travel essentials.
How we create and review guides
- We aim to publish original, useful English-language guides that answer real travel-planning questions.
- We organize information so travelers can quickly find practical next steps, including transport, destination context, and seasonal or event-related considerations.
- We review and update guides when travel information changes or when a page no longer serves readers well.
- Where decisions depend on opening hours, prices, immigration rules, transport schedules, tickets, or local regulations, travelers should confirm the latest details with the relevant official provider before making plans.
Editorial independence
Our goal is to help readers make informed travel choices. Opinions and recommendations are presented for planning purposes and are not guarantees of availability, safety, pricing, or suitability for every traveler. Some guides contain affiliate links (for example to Klook for train and activity tickets); these are marked as such, and we may earn a commission if you book through them, at no extra cost to you.
About the author
Visit Korea 4U is written by Juyul, who lives in Gyeongju, South Korea, and travels regularly to Busan. Gyeongju and Busan are the places I know best, so guides about them draw on things I do myself: which buses I take, where I eat, where parking is hard. Practical details such as hours, prices and transport are checked against official Korean sources. For places I have not visited myself, the guides rely on those official sources and do not include personal accounts.
