[APEC 2025 Series Prologue] A Global Summit in Gyeongju
In the fall of 2025, the historic city of Gyeongju, South Korea, will become the center of the world’s attention as it hosts the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit. With 21 member economies accounting for nearly 60% of global GDP and half of world trade, APEC is one of the most influential forums shaping the future of the global economy.
The theme of APEC 2025 is “Creating Our Sustainable Tomorrow Together”, reflecting shared goals of digital innovation, carbon neutrality, and inclusive growth. Beyond being a diplomatic gathering, APEC 2025 will be a milestone event where leaders, policymakers, and innovators collaborate on building a more resilient future.
